How will i know if my windscreen can be repaired or if it needs to be replaced?
If you have a chip in your windscreen up to the size of a 50 cent coin then it can be repaired. If it is larger with long cracks coming off of it or you have a long crack the windscreen will need to be replaced.
How quickly can i get my windscreen replaced?
As we keep a lot of different types of windscreens in stock we are usually able to replace the day you call or the following day. If you have a windscreen with a rain sensor or a brand new vehicle that we don't currently stock we can usually get that windscreen in freight the next day or when we get our weekly order in.
How does my insurance claim work?
If you have windscreen cover on your vehicle through your insurance company we are able to replace your windscreen at no further cost to you. Just let us know when booking in your vehicle so we can get the claim no. through your insurance company.
Is it safe to drive my car with a broken windscreen?
Windscreens are made up of two sheets of glass with a laminate film through the middle which holds the glass together so if your windscreen is broken it should only crack and generally you should be fine to continue driving unless you have had severe damage such as vandalism or hitting a kangaroo it may be difficult to see through to be able to continue driving.
